AHA Fruit Acids ‘Phyto fruit mix‘  A concentrated blend of five botanical extracts: sugar cane, apple, orange, lemon and green tea. These extracts contain the naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acids: lactic, glycolic, citric, malic and tartaric. AHA’s work by decreasing the compounds that hold dead skin on the surface. By breaking down these compounds, the dead cells slough off, leaving behind a layer of smoother, softer skin. AHA’s help to even skin tone and minimize wrinkles. They are also useful in the care of different skin problems such as acne, oily skin and large pores.

Algin (Sodium Alginate) A marine algae derived gel forming agent. It softens, hydrates and soothes the skin leaving it feeling smooth and silky.

Almonds Finely ground  A gentle skin softening exfoliant.

Alpine Willow Herb This epidermis and sebum balancing extract is from a rare alpine plant which is rich in flavinoids and has strong anti-inflammatory properties. It is also very high in the tannin oenethin B, which is very useful in regulating sebum production, making it helpful for treating large pores, oily and sensitive skin.

Apricot kernel Oil  A light textured oil good for sensitive, inflamed , dry or mature skins. High in vitamin A, helps the skin retain elasticity and suppleness.

Argan Oil A valuable oil for hair and scalp health, Argan oil moisturises, reduces breakage and split ends and may help prevent hair loss.

Avocado Oil Rich in protein and vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E lecithin and Beta Carotene. Excellent for dry and wrinkled skin.

Bamboo Isoflavone (Lactobacillus/ Arundinaria Gigantea Leaf Ferment Filtrate​) Is a natural alternative to silicone with the added benefit of strong antioxidant protection. Black Pepper Essential Oil Stimulates local circulation.

Black Willow Bark Increases the cell renewal capabilities of cosmetic formulations. Natural black willow bark extract is a safe way to get the benefits of a B-hydroxy acid without the risk of irritation. When compared to salicylic acid the extract is better able to increase turnover of the outer layer of the epidermis effectively removing dead or peeling cells.

Candelilla Wax  A natural vegetable wax extracted from the candelilla plant.  A vegan alternative to beeswax, helps repair and protect skin.

Candelilla is used to make barrier products, such as lip balms, because it is an emollient wax that prevents moisture loss from the skin. It has an anti-inflammatory action that helps calm itchy skin conditions and may help reduce the appearance of blemishes.

Rich in nutrients and fatty acids, and not too heavy on the skin, candelilla wax is great for when the skin needs a little extra moisture and protection.

Vege-emulse is an emulsifying system derived from the vegetable fatty acids glyceryl stearate and cetearyl alcohol plus a blend of fatty acids and lactic acid sodium stearoyl lactylate. Niacinamide  or vitamin  (B3)  is a superstar balancing ingredient for all skin types – softening fine lines and wrinkles, improving skin tone and discolouration from sun damage, boosting the hydrating ability of moisturisers and  it is a standout ingredient for reducing the appearance of enlarged pores.  It does this by keeping pores free of oil and debris which can lead to clogged and rough bumpy skin.  Blocked pores will stretch and enlarge resulting in an orange peel appearance.  Regular use of a product containing niacinamide will help pores visibly tighten.
